The first and only meeting of the year for the Nominating Committee of the Redwood Chapter, ACLU will meet on Thursday, August 2nd at 12:00 p.m at our office on 917 Third Street, Suite Q in Eureka.
The members of the Nominating Committee include three current Boardmembers and two at-large ACLU members who are not currently on the Chapter Board: Christina Allbright, Charles Douglas, Maria Hershey, Xandra Manns, Jamie Rose.
This committee is charged with developing a slate of up to ten [10] candidates for consideration by the Chapter Board (three [3] of which will be one-year terms, seven [7] of which will be two-year terms). The Chapter Board on August 16th will then adopt this slate, with or without amendment, to be presented to the Redwood Chapter membership to stand for election to the next Chapter Board at the Annual Meeting in October.

Redwood ACLU Chapter Board Meeting Thursday August 16th Noon
The Board of Directors of the Redwood Chapter, ACLU will meet Thursday, August 16th at 12:00 p.m. at the ACLU office at 917 Third Street, Suite Q (between J & K Streets) in Eureka.
The agenda will include review and approval of the Nominating Committee slate of potential new and continuing Board members to stand for election at the Annual meeting; reports from Chapter officers and committees; consideration of amendments to the Chapter Bylaws; review plans for first ACLU Arts Alive! event; and consideration of other items which Boardmembers or at-large members may bring up.
Board meetings are open to all ACLU members in good standing. Please call 215-5385 for more information or to request the inclusion of a new item on the meeting agenda.
